Thursday the 16th of October
it’s been a sad old time because my brother bills wife Billy is in a Hospice having end of life
care. I went to see her today. This is the second time I’ve plucked up enough courage to
do so. I went to see her last week and she looked very ill very thin but we’re still full of life,
tired and in pain yes but she was still hanging on from being her ever southeast London self
today was different she was fast asleep and I sat in the family room with my brother bill and
his daughter and with Billy’s daughter Claire.
I drove home a bit miserable….. Cold up Dave Franks and we went for an Indian meal…..
Indian food run this way is very difficult to find any that is cooked well…. So we opted to go
to the Bombay social in Esha restaurant looks fantastic…. The nice owner came over and took out order.
We were so disappointed….. The food was overly hot and seemed to be cooked with
tablespoons full of Curry powder cumin powder coriander powder in fact it was like eating
powder…… the Bombay potatoes of which I’m extremely partial were made of those awful
little new potatoes staff were great but the chef needs to be shot. early night 10:00
Saturday the 18th of October
our friend from reform, so fear north Lewis…. Invited Natasha and I to a cafe in deepest
Essex where a job lot of veterans were meeting….. We had to be there at 1:00.
We arrived and proceeded to meet some of the old chaps….. Suddenly a million bikers
turned up… accompanied would you believe by a million scooter riders… I thought there
would be bloodshed….. There wasn’t… everyone was determined to try and get a positive
outcome out of this gathering………
here’s a couple of stills to watch…… and you can see my speech on JD TV…
on the way back we stopped off at the Hospice and saw my poor sister-in-law…..
Was not nice at all
Sunday the 19th October
our friends Nicole and Lee turned up…… the rest is a blur
