Jim’s Diary – Jim’s Bad November

I have truly hated the month of November…… it started with an
idyllic holiday in Barbados that went disastrously wrong with Natasha
and I fighting like cat and dog causing us to ditch the holiday and
come home and find a neutral corner each…
it just seems that every bad thing comes at once, including a bit of
my tooth falling out yesterday….. I had to go to the dentist and he
had a look at it and said no it’s just a cap over the top of the tooth
that’s come off….. I didn’t even know I had one at the back of my
mouth I thought that the Turkey teeth were just at the front..
I did 2 gigs in November….. The circus Tavern… and the casino rooms
in Rochester they’re both owned by the same guy…….. They’re both quite difficult
rooms to work. The circus Tavern has a sort of a dance floor bit that
raises up to make the stage huge and if you stand in the middle there
are rows and rows of table behind you that have to practise lip
reading….. The show at the circus went great
then it was time for the casino rooms…. This is 1 big shed…. Full of
700 people from the Medway towns who looked like they’d been
drinking for four days without stop…. It was brilliant and we all had a
great time

I’ve been going out with my mate Dave Franks quite a bit as Tasha
and I are still in neutral corners…. We go to the Ivy quite a bit…. We
like the Ivy as a nice atmosphere

I’m planning my birthday party for December…. I’m going to have it
at home and hopefully Natasha will come although I’ve asked her
and she said she doesn’t want to….. It’s weird really we haven’t quite
split up….. But we’re not doing anything together.

I’m wondering how much more I can take or how much more she can
take before we both decide to move on….. I hope that doesn’t
happen as I love a very much even if she is the hardest and most
stubborn woman I’ve ever met in my life. She has raised three
children basically on her own…. They are still with her. She is a
fantastic mum….. And it’s a miracle that she allowed me into her
circle in the first place….. I certainly am not the centre of her world….
Boo
poor old car is mounting up the mile she is now done 29,000 and I’ve
had it less than a year
it’s living up near Chertsey that does it and having to drive 90 miles
to the studio every day and 90 miles back…..

I have finalised the script for **** Whittington and it looks as if we
will play the Tivoli theatre in Wimborne from the 15th of June until
the 20th …… I’m putting the finishing touches to the set and the
costumes and the casting and will be on sale after Christmas in the
new year….. I hope you will come and see it…. There’s only 7
performances so get your tickets quick…

and just to Add to the misery of November I’ve had to tell His Majesty the king that I could
not join him for drinks this Christmas as I am working
I do so look forward to seeing His Majesty and Her Majesty at the palace it really is a good
party he is so relaxed and she is always wonderful
